The Odds: What the Numbers Will Tell Us

This isn’t about one lucky guess. This is about statistics. To truly understand what’s happening, we need to run this experiment multiple times—ideally, 20 trials or more—and then look at the overall results.

The Baseline: Pure Chance

If the entities are just hallucinations, and you’re just guessing, then your chances of picking the correct number out of 20 are 1 in 20, or 5%.

So, what would the results mean?

• 0-1 Correct out of 20: This is exactly what you’d expect from pure random chance. Nothing to see here. The entities are likely just a product of your mind.

• 2-3 Correct out of 20: This is interesting. It’s a little better than chance, but still could be luck. It’s a hint, but not a definitive answer.

• 4-5 Correct out of 20: This is where science starts to pay attention. This level of accuracy is statistically significant. The odds of this happening by pure chance are very low. This would be a strong hint that something extraordinary is happening.

• 6+ Correct out of 20: This would be a game-changer. This is highly significant. The odds of this being random are almost impossible. It would mean that the entities are consistently accessing information that you, the human, do not consciously possess.
