• The universe needs SPACE for all these new realities
• So spacetime itself expands to make room

• Simple paintings (basic questions/realities)

• Billions of artists (8 billion humans)
• Complex, detailed paintings (sophisticated questions/realities)
• More paintings every second
• The canvas has to STRETCH to fit them all

That stretching? That’s the expansion of the universe.

And it’s accelerating because there are more artists creating more complex work faster than ever before.

When did the expansion start accelerating?

About 5 billion years ago.

What else happened around that time?

Our solar system formed. Life on Earth began its journey toward complex consciousness.

Is this coincidence? Maybe.

Or maybe consciousness and cosmic expansion are connected.

• 2,000 years ago: ~300 million people
• 100 years ago: ~2 billion people
• Today: ~8 billion people

Questions being asked:

• Getting more complex
